McDonald's Breakfast Bagel Sandwiches Are Back

McDonald's occasionally announces the reintroduction of a fan favorite with fanfare, like the McRib, and other times, for unclear reasons, it quietly introduces the item into locations.

The latter appears to be the highly sought-after bagel breakfast sandwiches, which are now appearing in a few places.

After learning this week that bagel sandwiches were making a comeback, we contacted McDonald's representatives, who confirmed that while bagels are no longer offered nationally,

they are still a regional option and can be found at participating McDonald's restaurants in a few markets, including Columbus, Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York City, and other New England regions. They emphasized that the participating stores' limited-time promotion for McDonald's bagel sandwiches.

This morning's search revealed that they are accessible there. All of the McDonald's locations we picked in Westchester, New York, and New York City are currently selling bagel sandwiches. To make sure the nearby eateries are prepared to fill those demands, we even placed an order for one and had it delivered.

Steak, Egg & Cheese, Bacon, Egg & Cheese, and Sausage, Egg & Cheese were the three bagel sandwiches that vanished from McDonald's menus during the pandemic in 2020 but were later discovered in Ohio, Virginia, and Philadelphia in early September of this year.

The iconic breakfast foods' reappearance have been long-promised by McDonald's, so the news isn't entirely unexpected.

Particularly this week, Reddit users have reported seeing the bagel sandwiches all around. "This morning, I received a notification from my app letting me know they had returned to Michigan. I am aware that Ohio has been re-testing them for the past few months "a user added.

They have also been sighted by other people in some areas of Illinois, New Jersey, Long Island, and Upstate New York.Bagel sandwiches were not found in searches in San Francisco or Portland, Oregon, although they are still available throughout New England thanks to locations in Maine.

Popular bagel sandwiches are once again available in many parts of the nation. This indicates that, at least in part, the company is keeping its commitment from 2021.
